QRToolMage

Static QR

QR Code Generator

Encode a URL or text into a static QR symbol. The destination is stored in the pixels. There is no later edit, scan count, or hosted redirect.

The payload is encoded or decoded in your browser. QRToolMage does not upload it, store it, or send it to analytics.

Payload type

Generate to preview.

Generate a code to preview it here.

Static QR: the payload is stored in the image. It cannot be edited later and this site does not count scans.

How it works

The browser encodes the payload with QR versions 1–40 and error correction L, M, Q, or H. Colors must stay dark-on-light with usable contrast. Quiet zone is at least four modules.

Input and output

Input is a URL or text. Output is a preview plus PNG or SVG. This is not a generic image converter.

Examples

Website

Encode https://example.com/invite. The printed code will always open that URL.

Unicode text

Encode a short note that includes non-English characters. UTF-8 stays in the payload.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose URL or text, then enter the payload.
  2. Pick error correction. M is the default for most uses.
  3. Preview the code, then download PNG or SVG.
  4. Reset clears the payload and preview.

Limitations

  • Payloads are capped so the symbol stays practically scannable. This is not unlimited generation.
  • Very large payloads produce dense codes that cheap cameras may fail to read.
  • Low-contrast or inverted colors are blocked.
  • A logo overlay is not offered because it breaks modules.

Questions

Is this a dynamic QR code?

No. A static QR stores the payload in the image. Changing the URL later means generating a new code. QRToolMage does not host redirects or scan analytics.

Does the URL leave my device?

No. Encoding runs in your browser. QRToolMage does not upload the payload or send it to analytics.

Which export should I use?

PNG is for slides and messages. SVG is for print because it stays sharp at any size. Quiet zone is kept in both.
